Rev Robert Storms and Rev N R Briles officiated. Mrs Fayette Blount was the organist. Pallbearers were Leroy Deewall, Norman Lee, Bill Hoofer. Honorary Pallbearers were Bill Sickler, Clyde Blount, Paul Seeley, George Deewall, Ernest Oller, and Cecil Wilson. Interment was in Crown Hill Cemetery, Coldwater. Obituary: Richard Austin Squire, son of Peter and Mary Jane Squire was born in Carrol county, Missouri,December 25, 1878. He passed away in The Pioneer Lodge, Coldwater, Kans, May 7, 1969 at the age of 86. He moved to Harper county, Kansas, with his parents at the age of three where he grew to manhood. He was united in marriage to Lura May Welch at Attica in 1900. To this union was born three daughters and two sons. Here he and his wife united with the United Brethren church. During this period he spend 17 years railroading for the Santa Fe railroad. In 1917 Rich moved with his wife and five children to Coy, Okla, where he made hishome. He was engaged in farming for eight years in this area. Since there was no church in the neighborhood, Sunday school services were held in his home. In 1925 he and his family moved to Comanche county where he resided until his death. At this time he moved his church membership to the Antioch Methodist church where he was quite active .
