Description	:	R. H. Collins, editor of The Chestertown Transcript, died Tuesday morning at his home on Front Street after being ill for several months. Funeral services were held at Emmanuel P. E. Church. Interment Chester Cemetery. He was born near Centreville, MD, to Jane Harrison and John M. Collins, where he began his career in the printing business at Centreville Observer. He worked in the business in various cities, including Baltimore and Philadelphia, and then in 1899 became associated with the Chestertown Transcript. He was survived by his wife, Elizabeth, and sons, Stephen R. Collins, R. H. Collins, Jr., and William S. Collins, all of Chestertown, and John. H Collins of Mt. Hope, WV. Also a brother, William S. Collins, of Chestertown, and sisters, Mrs. S. H. Stewart of Sacramento, California, and Mrs. E. J. Dewing, of Oakland, California.
