Description	:	LISBON - Richard L. "Rick" Wilson, 39, of State Route 45, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 1, 2009 at his home. Mr. Wilson was born October 23, 1969 in Salem, a son of Robert L. "Buck" and Kay (McCoy) Wilson, Sr. A member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, he was a graduate of Crestview High School and the CCCTC, was head of Crime Watch for Twin Oaks Mobile Park; drove bus for Columbiana County E.S.C.; and had served as a Police Officer in New Waterford and on the Columbiana Police Auxiliary in his younger years. He had also worked as a security... Read More	LISBON - Richard L. "Rick" Wilson, 39, of State Route 45, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 1, 2009 at his home. Mr. Wilson was born October 23, 1969 in Salem, a son of Robert L. "Buck" and Kay (McCoy) Wilson, Sr. A member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, he was a graduate of Crestview High School and the CCCTC, was head of Crime Watch for Twin Oaks Mobile Park; drove bus for Columbiana County E.S.C.; and had served as a Police Officer in New Waterford and on the Columbiana Police Auxiliary in his younger years. He had also worked as a security officer at the Cornersburg Sparkle Market and had volunteered at Camp Frederick. Rick loved working with disabled children; watching movies with his family, walking around the mall on the weekends; taking photos; and playing Santa at Christmas. In addition to his parents of New Waterford, he is survived by his wife, Gennifer (Wymer) Wilson, whom he married March 13, 1999; son, J. Travis Crum; daughter, Katrina V. Crum; brother, Robert Wilson of Franklin Square; sister, Marsha Wilson of Youngstown; and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and his uncle Larry Bryant. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Monday, January 5, 2009 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Wilkens officiating. Burial will follow in the New Waterford Cemetery.
