Description	:	Richard Marvin Moseley, son of Mr. and Mrs. A.T. Moseley, of Raiford, died Thursday, March 17th, and was buried Friday at Kingsley Lake Cemetery. This fine young man was employed at Arnold's Stone Plant, Jacksonville, where he was taken ill on the 7th inst. with the much dreaded disease, smallpox. This fine young man was employed at Arnold's Stone Plant, Jacksonville, where he was taken ill on the 7th inst. with the much dreaded disease, smallpox. His brother, Lawrence, who is employed at the State Farm as Captain of the yard, went to Jacksonville and brought the sick brother to his home in Raiford, where he received medical attention and careful nursing, but after ten days of intense suffering he succumbed to the disease and passed on to “the undiscovered country from whose bourne no traveler returns.” Richard Marvin Moseley was born July 17, 1891, in Montgomery County, Georgia, and when fifteen years of age moved with his parents to Bradford County. For a number of years his parents lived in Starke, and when the subject of this sketch was seventeen years of age he joined the Methodist Church, while Rev. C.W. Inman was pastor here, and was always true to his church vows. He possessed a genial disposition that made many friends and was a favorite in the family circle, who deeply mourn his untimely death, but his loved ones have the comfort of knowing that he was ready for the great change, as he told his mother shortly before his death that he was “going home.” The deceased leaves the following relatives, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.T. Moseley, of Raiford; three brothers, Lawrence Moseley, of Raiford; Preston [Alexander Preston] Moseley, of Zephyhills; Johnny [John Wallace] Moseley, of Waldo; and a sister, Mrs. R.O.
