Description	:	son of Sherman M. Bisby and Francis M. ‘Fannie’ Schump Bisby of Herington, KS. Richard was a graduate of St. John’s Catholic grade school. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army. In 1952, he married Anne M. Reisig and they had two children by this union. Richard worked for the Rock Island and Burlington Northern Railroads in Herington until his retirement. Richard is survived by his spouse, Doris; two children, Nancy and Bruce (Vicki); 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; one brother, Dennis (Pam) and oh yes, his constant companion, Buddy, a Jack Russell terrier. Richard was cremated. A memorial service and burial in Herington is planned for a later date.
