Interment was held at Holyoke Memorial Park. Rilla Ione L. Wright was born to Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Wright February 2, 1896, in York County, Nebraska. She came to Phillips County as a child with her parents and spent most of her life in and around Holyoke. She died September 13 at Prairie Vista Nursing Home. She was married to Jessee A. Holmes September 30, 1914. They had one daughter, Margaret Booth, who preceded her mother in death. Mr. Holmes died June 2, 1959. Rilla married Harvey E. Lock of Imperial, Nebraska on September 28, 1963. They made their home in Imperial until 1965 when they moved to Holyoke. Mrs. Lock worked for many years in millinery and clothing stores in Holyoke where she particularly enjoyed modeling ladies' hats. She has been a member of the First Christian Church in Holyoke since 1914. She was a member of Jolly Dozen Extension Club and The Royal Neighbors for many years. Rilla Lock is survived by her husband Harvey; granddaughter LaRae Cissell of Las Vegas, Nevada; two great grandsons, John and Kevin McCord of Las Vegas; and two great great grandchildren. Also surviving are one stepdaughter, Mrs. Richard E. Brown of Holyoke and a stepson, Dwaine Lock of Lamar, Nebraska; five step-grandchildren, Mike Brown of Denver, Mrs. Wes Bower of Berthoud, Kevin Lock of Imperial, and Lester and Ron Lock of Lamar, and 10 step-great-grandchildren.
