Burial will be made in the Nelson cemetery (sic). The Nelson Gazette, Thursday, March 31, 1960 Rinehart G. Oltmans was born Aug. 24, 1878, in Logan County, Ill., and passed away Mar. 30, 1960, at the age of 81 years, 7 months and 8 days. When a small child, he moved with his parents to Gage County, Nebr., where he spent his boyhood days, living the rest of his life in Nuckolls county (sic) with the exception of two years in Wallace, Nebr. On Oct. 1, 1913, he was united in marriage to Emma K. Frey. To this union six children were born, two sons and four daughters: Glenn, Marvin, Lila and Mrs. Howard Good of Nelson; Mrs. Paul Komp of Joliet, Ill., and Mrs. Henry Andersen of Wallace, Nebr. He leaves to mourn his departure, his wife and children, fourteen grandchildren, four brothers and one sister and a host of relatives and friends. He was baptized in the Methodist faith; later, with his family, he joined the United Brethren Church. After its discontinuation, he transferred his membership to the First Presbyterian Church of Nelson. He was a kind and loving husband and father. His children praise him dearly. Funeral services were held on April 3, 1960, at 2 o'clock p.m., in the First Presbyterian Church in Nelson with the Rev. Ewel Vaughan of the First Christian Church of Nelson officiating.
