Dairy farming became their prime interest in Vega, located about 6 miles north of Neerlandia, though they added beef cattle as time went on. Rita joyfully rejoined Ralph (2006) her deceased loving husband. Rita is survived by her Children & Grandchildren: Kathleen (Phil) Novikoff - Ashleigh & Danielle; Lois (Rob) Houlden - Kim (Galen) & Dane; Trudy (Otto) Schlosser - Cyndi (Jeff) & Derrick; Jocelyn (Don) Shandrowsky – Krista (Travis & Harmony), Jonathan (McKenzie), Katlin, Patrick (Kirsten), Nicole & A.J.; Colleen (Lennard) VanderSchee - Cassidy, Tashelle, Adam, Ryleigh & Spencer; Karlen (Evelyn) Krikke - Nathaniel, Kristopher, Lyndon & Tori. Siblings: Herma (Lula) Gelderman, Jean Spee, and Henry (Betty) Gelderman; Siblings Inlaw; Hilda Gelderman, Bert Nanninga, Alvin(Irene) Nanninga and Lily Allen, as well as many other family and friends. Funeral Service to be held Tuesday May 29, 2012 @ 1:00 P.M. in Neerlandia Christian Reformed Church with Pastor Randy Blacketer officiating. Interment will follow in the Neerlandia Cemetery.
