Description	:	Robert A Hodgins was born Jan 7, 1921 in St Charles, Gregory County, South Dakota to Andrew Frances Hodgins and Barbara A Penne Hodgins. He graduated from Bonesteel High School in 1939, he enlisted into the US Army on Sept 27, 1939, he entered the army Feb 10, 1941 at Brookings, SD and served as a staff sergeant with the Corp of Engineers. He was discharged Oct, 5, 1945. On November 2, 1946, he married Ulla (Dolly) Lenore Halverson at Bonesteel, South Dakota. They lived in Bonesteel, Hill City, Watertown, and Pierre, before moving to Burnsville in 1973.... They lived in Bonesteel, Hill City, Watertown, and Pierre, before moving to Burnsville in 1973. Robert worked for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife service and was the Special-Agent-In-Charge of the Minnesota Fish and Wildlife service in Minnesota. Robert and his wife lived at 113 Geneva Boulevard in Burnsville, MN 55306. Robert died June 13, 1995 in Burnsville, cause of death was Multiple Myeloma. He was cremated at the Metropolitan Cemetery. Funeral Arrangements were made by the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4343 Nicollet Ave., Minneapolis, MN.55409 Survivors include : his wife of 49 years, Ulla (Dolly) Lenore Halverson; his children; Barbara (George) Wood of Pierre, South Dakota, Daniel Hodgins of Apple Valley, Minnesota, Bobbi Hodgins of Burnsville, and Jane Hodgins of Bloomington, Minnesota; grandchildren: Christopher (Rebecca) Hargens of Rapid City, South Dakota, Amy Hodgins and Shane Hodgins of Covington, Louisiana; Brian Wood of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Kim (Mike) Anderson of Willmar, Minnesota, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services were held at Mary, Mother of the Church in Burnsville with a second service at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Bonesteel, South Dakota, with interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.
