He had been ill for two months. He was born May 23, 1911, in Saint Paris, Ohio, to Daniel and Mary Kessler Beaty. He first married Henrietta Mae Switzer and they had a daughter, Iris. He was born May 23, 1911, in Saint Paris, Ohio, to Daniel and Mary Kessler Beaty. He first married Henrietta Mae Switzer and they had a daughter, Iris. Later he married Irene Smith and they had two sons, Robert and Roland. He retired from Biltz and Beaty Service Station and the Tebco Company, both in Tipton. He was a member of the Tipton American Legion Post No. 46 and the FOP. He served with the Army during World War 11. He served with the 101st Airborne and the 327th Infantry. Surviving with the widow are two sons, Roland E. Beaty of Kempton and Robert Beaty of Tipton; one daughter, Mrs. Arbie (Iris) Stone of Sheridan; one sister, Mrs Elsie McCain of Urban, Ohio; one brother, James Beaty of Saint Paris, Ohio; 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Young-Nichols funeral home in Tipton and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
