Description	:	Robert E. Inman, 65, of Mount Airy, NC passed away at Forsyth Hospital, on March 3, 2014, after a long illness. He was born January 20, 1949, in Patrick County, Virginia to the late Jesse and Luvenia Inman. Mr. Inman was a retired sub-contractor, known for his craftsmanship work and honesty. He is survived by his wife of 46 years; one daughter, Cyndi of Dobson; two sons, Kelly of Mount Airy, and Keith and wife, Sheila of Mount Airy; five special grandchildren, all of Mount Airy; a special grand-niece of Mount Airy; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Shelby, Jo-Anne and Bud, Sandra and Shortie... He was born January 20, 1949, in Patrick County, Virginia to the late Jesse and Luvenia Inman. Mr. Inman was a retired sub-contractor, known for his craftsmanship work and honesty. He is survived by his wife of 46 years; one daughter, Cyndi of Dobson; two sons, Kelly of Mount Airy, and Keith and wife, Sheila of Mount Airy; five special grandchildren, all of Mount Airy; a special grand-niece of Mount Airy; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Shelby, Jo-Anne and Bud, Sandra and Shortie all of King; a special long time friend and neighbor, Dean; two special sisters-in-law, Lois and Joyce; and several nieces who were always there for him. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Roger and Jessie Ray Inman. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 7, 2014 at Cox-Needham Funeral Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Randy Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in the Sandy Ridge Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Cana, Virginia. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service on Friday, March 7, 2014, from 12:00-2:00 P.M. at Cox-Needham Funeral Chapel. At other times the family will be at the home. Cox-Needham Funeral Home of Pilot Mountain is respectfully serving the Inman family.
