He was bom Dec. 14, 1904, on a farm northwest of Beaver Crossing to Fred and Kathryn (Yakel) Ganshorn. As a young boy, he attended country school near Beaver Crossing. He was bom Dec. 14, 1904, on a farm northwest of Beaver Crossing to Fred and Kathryn (Yakel) Ganshorn. As a young boy, he attended country school near Beaver Crossing. Mr. Ganshorn helped his father farm northwest of Beaver Crossing. On Dec. 14,1933, he married Alma M. Wurst. They lived and farmed northwest of Beaver Crossing and were long-time members of the Beaver Crossing United Methodist Church and the Flowing Well Grange. Mr. Ganshorn also worked for the ASCS office for several years and was later a seed com dealer for Rob-Sce-Co. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma, in 1994, a grandson, DuranKnutzen.in 1993, two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie and Ronald Scott, Lincoln, and Lavonne "Kay" and Hans Pictsch, Las Vegas, Nov.; brothers and sister-in-law, Harry Ganshorn, Beaver Crossing, and Joe and Ruth Ganshorn, Lincoln; sisters and brothcrs- in-law, Esther Wurst, Beaver Crossing, Helen and Oliver Buchner, Sarasota, Calif., and Marie and Ervin Barth, Friend; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Monday, Jan. 27, at the Beaver Crossing United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Carl W. Trahan-Truc officiaung. Pallbearers were Brian Delunger, Gale Ganshorn, Roger Wurst, Todd Upton, Terry Scott and Terry Barth. Burial was at Beaver Crossing Cemetery.
