Description	:	Robert Harold Fox Funeral services will be held at the Alcorn-Miller funeral home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock for Robert Harold Fox, 23, of Vinton killed Saturday in a Cedar Rapids automobile accident. Fox, a former army air corps flight officer, was fatally injuries when he apparently lost control of his car at 3rd avenue and 5th street S. E. in Cedar Rapids. Fox, a former army air corps flight officer, was fatally injuries when he apparently lost control of his car at 3rd avenue and 5th street S. E. in Cedar Rapids. The Linn county coroner decided not to hold an inquest. The young flyer received his discharge from the army air corps the same day he died. He had returned to Vinton on Nov 22 after 37 months of service. Robert Harold Fox was born near Urbana, March 23, 1922, to Mr. and Mrs. Fred Fox, now living in Vinton. In 1940 he graduated from Vinton high school. Later he was employed by the American Petroleum Co., and worked as a surveyor for the county engineer's office before joining the air corps. Besides his parents he is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Badding of Urbana. Mrs. Opal Koln of Winthrop and Mrs. Neva Hoffner of Vinton and two brothers, Harland of Cedar Rapids and Donald of Hawthorne, Nev. A third brother, James Wesley died in infancy. The Rev. William Butler of the Vinton Methodist church assisted by the American Legion will be in charge of funeral services. Burial will be in the Kisling cemetery near Urbana.
