Description	:	Robert Houston (Snooks) Stinnett, 60, of Buena Vista, Va., died on Monday, September 14, 2009, at his home. He was born on November 22, 1948, in Lexington, a son of Marshall "Squirrel" H. Stinnett and the late Cecil Henson Stinnett. Mr. Stinnett was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was employed by C.W. Barger's for 20 years. He was born on November 22, 1948, in Lexington, a son of Marshall "Squirrel" H. Stinnett and the late Cecil Henson Stinnett. Mr. Stinnett was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was employed by C.W. Barger's for 20 years. Ramsey; and sister-in-law, Judith R. Wilmore. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Margaret Ramsey Stinnett; two daughters, Tammy Leigh Stinnett and fiance, Stacy Taylor, and Claira "Katie" Ramsey; one sister, Linda S. Barger and husband, Joe; one brother, Randy Stinnett and wife, Debra "Puddin;" one granddaughter, Sydney Taylor; two nieces, Tabitha Stinnett and Bridgette Clark and husband, Travis; two nephews, Chris Barger and Zack Stinnett; a great-niece, Tristen Clark; and a greatnephew, Jaydon Clark, all of Buena Vista. He is also survived by brother and sister-in-laws, Sharon R. Sorrels and family, Jonathan Ramsey and family, Carla R. Young and family, Joel Ramsey and family, Bruce Ramsey and family, and Jimmy Wilmore and family; father-in-law, Lyle Ramsey; life long friend, Ray Wilmore, whom he also called his brother; and a special friend, Roger Roberts. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2009, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with Pastor Michael Pettry and Elder Alvin Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2009, at Bolling, Grose and Lotts Funeral Home, Buena Vista, and at any time at the home, 88 Cody Lane, Buena Vista.
