Description	:	Robert Jones, son of Sarah and Evan Jones, was born March 23, 1884, at Prentig, North Wales, and passed away February 11, 1936, at the age of 51 years, ten months, and 17 days. In 1887, he came to this country with his parents, living a few years at Bala and later moving to Broughton, and from there the Clay Center community. In 1911 he was united in marriage to Jessie Crouse of Broughton. He leaves to mourn his going his widow and seven children, two girls and five boys, Floyd of Goodings, Ida., Mrs. Mildred Martin of Clay Center, Frank of Clay Center, Elmer, Kenneth, Dorothy, and Harold of the home; one granddaughter, and eleven nieces and nephews; his father, Evan Jones; his sisters and brothers, Mrs. Dave Danielson, Mrs. Charles Day, Mrs. Fred Burl and Mrs. Henry Heuson, Edward and William Jones. His mother preceded him in death, January 24, 1929. Funeral services were conducted at the Peterson Chapel in Clay Center on February 13 at 2:30 o'clock by the pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church of Broughton, Rev. Travis Siever. A quartet composed of Mr. and Mrs. George Dietrich, Mrs. Russell Robinson, and Arthur Tannehill sang "Aide With Me," and "Good Night and Good Morning," and "No Night There." Pallbearers were Ervin Petterson, Darrell Farrow, Audley Walker, James Carter, Forrest Bagby and Tom Parry, Jr. Burial was in the Broughton Cemetery. Contributor: A.W. Bauer (49122991) •
