Description	:	Robert L. Shafer, 75, of Angola, died Saturday, May 8, 2004, at Northern Lakes Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Angola. Mr. Shafer was born May 13, 1928, in Wilkinsburg, Pa., to Carm and Blanche (Williams) Shafer. He married Lois Knapp in June of 1953. She survives. He attended Farmer High School, and graduated from Hicksville High School in Ohio with the class of 1946. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Edward C. Services will be at 1 p.m. Indiana time Saturday at Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville. Calling will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. Burial will be at Six Corners Cemetery in Hicksville.
