He was born November 01, 1932 in Napoleon, Ohio to the late Leroy and Anna (Clausen) Slight. On January 15, 1952 he married Augusta Sophia Arps who preceded him in death on December 27, 2002. Read More	November 1, 1932 - May 18, 2015 Robert LeRoy Slight, 82, of Napoleon died Monday, May 18, 2015 at CHP Inpatient Hospice Center, Defiance, Ohio. He was born November 01, 1932 in Napoleon, Ohio to the late Leroy and Anna (Clausen) Slight. On January 15, 1952 he married Augusta Sophia Arps who preceded him in death on December 27, 2002. Robert worked for Ver n Nagel Construction from 1952 till retiring in 2008 as a foremen and supervisor. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon. He loved to garden, fish, going camping, breakfast at Spanglers for his prettle sandwiches, humming birds at their feeder, playing dice with his sisters, and his dog Skeeter. He is survived by his daughters, Kathryn Eble, Concord, North Carolina, Nancy Homan, McClure, Ohio, and Susan Funchion, Napoleon; Grandchildren, Charlotte, Mary, Margo, Miranda, Janell, and Zach; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Donald (Susie) Slight, Napoleon; sisters, Maxine Judson, Napoleon, Marcille Eberle, Napoleon, and Karen (Martin) Hogrefe, Napoleon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Augusta; brother Richard Slight; and sister, Dorothy Armey. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 23 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon. Internment to follow at Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday 2 - 8 p.m. at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon and Saturday 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the church. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul Youth Center, Defiance Inpatient Hospice or donors choice. Online condolences may be made at www.rodenbergerfuneralhome.com
