Highland Recorder March 13, 1931 Robert T. Botkin whose illness was briefly mentioned in the last issue of the Recorder died on Sunday March 8th 1931 at the age of 60 years, 9 mon. and 24 days. Mr. Botkin was sick only a few days with pleurisy and “flu”. He will be greatly missed in this community being a life long resident of the Lynn Rock Community. He was always a quiet peaceful citizen. He will be especially missed in his home where he leaves three aunts who are well stricken in years. He also leaves two sons, Bruce of Lone Fountain whose wife has been very ill with pneumonia, and Roy at home. Funeral services were conducted from the home at 11 o’clock Tuesday by Rev M.C. Craun of the Brethren church. Burial was in the family cemetery near by. Highland Recorder March 13, 1931 Robert T.
