Description	:	Robert "Bob" W. Kettelhake, 54, of rural Steinauer, passed away Dec. 22, 2013 at Belle Terrace in Tecumseh, Nebraska. He was born to Wilber and Mildred (Koehler) Kettelhake on Aug. 10, 1959 in Tecumseh, Nebraska. Bob was baptized August 23, 1959 by Rev. John Heins and confirmed May 6, 1973 by Rev. Harold Stelzer at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Elk Creek. Bob attended Tecumseh elementary through the fifth grade, 6th through 8th grades at St. Peter's Parochial School, and graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1977. Kettelhake, 54, of rural Steinauer, passed away Dec. 22, 2013 at Belle Terrace in Tecumseh, Nebraska. He was born to Wilber and Mildred (Koehler) Kettelhake on Aug. 10, 1959 in Tecumseh, Nebraska. Bob was baptized August 23, 1959 by Rev. John Heins and confirmed May 6, 1973 by Rev. Harold Stelzer at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Elk Creek. Bob attended Tecumseh elementary through the fifth grade, 6th through 8th grades at St. Peter's Parochial School, and graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1977. He received his mechanics degree from the University Of Nebraska School Of Technical Agriculture in Curtis, Nebraska in 1979. After graduation, Bob went to Fairfield, Nebraska and worked for John Deere and then came back to the family farm. He also did construction work for a Co-op building large grain elevators for Virginia, Manley and Pickrell. Bob worked for Hutt Oil in Tecumseh, and the Tecumseh Livestock Auction on Saturdays and Lincoln Lumber in Lincoln in the millwork division. When his father became ill Bob moved back to the farm and when Wilber passed away, Bob took over the farm. Bob served on the Finance Board and as an usher at St. Peter's Lutheran Church. When his health declined, Bob became a resident of Belle Terrace in Tecumseh in September of 2012. He is survived by his mother, Mildred Kettelhake, brother, David Kettelhake and wife Julie, sister, Susan Jett and husband Dennis, nephews Adam Kettelhake, Cory Kettelhake and Devin Jett and niece, Taylor Jett and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his father Wilber. Funeral services were held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, rural Elk Creek, Nebraska, December 26, 2013 with Reverend Robert Schermbeck officiating. Wherry Mortuary, Tecumseh, Nebraska.
