Description	:	Robert Wrestler Sr., 82, of Humboldt, Kan., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011, at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute, Kan. Robert was born in rural Humboldt, on Aug. 11, 1929, the son of Claude and Lois (Brinkmeyer) Wrestler. He graduated from Humboldt High School in 1947. He was united in marriage to Boneta Harvey on July 25, 1947, in Erie, Kan. She survives. Robert worked as a carman for the AT&SF Railroad and was also a farmer. Read More	Robert Wrestler Sr., 82, of Humboldt, Kan., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011, at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute, Kan. Robert was born in rural Humboldt, on Aug. 11, 1929, the son of Claude and Lois (Brinkmeyer) Wrestler. He graduated from Humboldt High School in 1947. He was united in marriage to Boneta Harvey on July 25, 1947, in Erie, Kan. She survives. Robert worked as a carman for the AT&SF Railroad and was also a farmer. He was a devoted Boy Scout Troop Leader and was also active as an adult leader for Campfire Girls. He was also a retired railroader. Robert is survived by his wife, Boneta Wrestler; his children, Robert Wrestler Jr., of Lewisville, Texas, and Connie Eustace, of Salina, Kan.; nine grandchildren, Tracy Overman, of Liberal, Mo., Batavia Russell, of Denton, Texas, Charlotte Wrestler, of Lamar, Mo., Cori Butler, of Houston, Texas, Robert Wrestler III, of Lewisville, Texas, Ryan Eustace, of Weatherford, Okla., Roger Wrestler, of Webb City, Mo., Garrett Eustace, of Weatherford, Okla., and Brandy Wrestler, of Lamar, Mo.; 14 great-grandchildren, Taylor, Ashley and Brandon Overman, Gracie, Millicent and Pierce Butler, Halie, Catherine and Rosie Wrestler, Kirstyn Eustace, Kendall Anderson, Whitten Eustace, Allie Wrestler and Riley Wrestler; one brother, Glenn Wrestler; and one sister, Eva Brockman. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Ronald Wayne Wrestler; and two sisters, Norma Jean Billbe and Thelma Ford. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29, at Otterbein United Methodist Church in Chanute. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials in his name may be made to Otterbein United Methodist Church and may be left with the funeral home. Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
