He grew up in the Red Cloud community. He received his formal education attending the Red Cloud Schools and graduated with the Class of 1978. He died unexpectedly at his home in Superior Sunday. He grew up in the Red Cloud community. He received his formal education attending the Red Cloud Schools and graduated with the Class of 1978. In June, 1992 he moved to Superior where he was employed by The Superior Express until the time of his death. In his leisure time he enjoyed being outdoors. He liked to fish and hunt, and Roger cherished the time with his purebred Rhodesian ridgeback dogs. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Dean Furse and Truman and Vie Gross. Survivors include his parents, Frances Furse, Holbrook, Ariz., and Roger Furse, Red Cloud; a sister, Lynda Furse. Palm Springs, Calif.; a brother, Randy Furse, Phoenix, Ariz.; his grandmother, Barbara Furse, Red Cloud; aunt, Judy Cigler, Billings, Mont.; and an uncle, Rodney Furse, Superior.
