He leaves his wife of 65 years, Ellen C. (Moore) Brown; two daughters, Lema M. Gaul of Bedford and Linda E. Cormier of Leominster; three sisters, Mildred Tilton of Salem, N.H., Lois Dickinson and Marjorie Fischer, both of Leominster; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A son, Roger B. Dupont Co., retiring in 1970 as general foreman. He was a member of Pilgrim Congregational Church, which he had served as deacon. He was a former member of the Young Men's Club at the Congregational Church of Christ. He enjoyed camping, gardening, and restoring old automobiles. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, in Pilgrim Congregational Church, 26 West St. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1, in Silas F.
