Description	:	Roger Theodore Brown was born on October 3, 1911 at Palmer, Nebraska, and died on September 16, 1981, in Memorial Hospital at Fullerton, Nebraska, following an extended illness. He was 69 years of age. His parents were the late J. Alf and Ruth (Niles) Brown. Mr. Brown attended Glenwood rural school and graduated from Palmer high school. He farmed in the Palmer area for a number of years before moving to near Fullerton where he continued to farm until the time of his illness. Surviving are his wife; four children, Robert Brown of Denver, Colorado, Bryan Brown of Omaha, Mrs. Lin (Jean) Schleif of Fairbury and Kenneth Brown of Weeping Water; 10 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Dale (Ruth) Wages of Stevensville, Montana; a brother, Harvey Brown of Fullerton; an aunt, Mrs. Sarah Anderson of Fullerton; an uncle, Ed Niles of Denver, Colorado; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Brown. Funeral services were conducted September 18 in Palmer's Funeral Home at Fullerton by Rev. James R. Hawthorne, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church. Burial was in the Fullerton Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dick Allington, Walter Furby, Donald Kilday, Benny Koziol, Stanley Pelican and Frank Santin.
