Death was due to cancer of the stomach with which deceased had suffered for a long time. His condition had been serious since last November. Deceased is survived by two children, Mrs. Tullis, with whom he lived, and John Barger of Alliance, and two brothers, Joseph Barger, janitor at the Salem hospital, and Brose Barger, of this city. The funeral took place Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Tullis home, the service being charge of the Rev. P. W. Macaulay, pastor of the Presbyterian church. Interment will be made in the Lisbon Cemetery. NOTE: There are three mistakes in this obituary. His name is actually spelled 'Roland', and not with a 'w'. He was 66 years old when he died, not 63. And his one brother's name is Ambrose, not Brose.
