Lighting the candles were Geraldine Hicken and Luella Aden, cousins of the bride. They wore matching strapless ballerina gowns of yellow net with yellow lace jackets and wristlets of yellow daisies. The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. She was attired in a ballerina gown made strapless with chantilly lace over the bodice of white satin and a full skirt of double tier imported silk and nylon illusion over white satin with white bands of chantilly edging over hip to the skirt length. The lace jacket over net had long sleeves tapered to a point over the hand. It is buttoned from the neck to the waist and had a little collar to complete the dress. The veil was held in place by a bonnet style cap of chantilly lace topped with pearls and irridescent sequins. The bride carried an orchid surrounded by carnations. Her only jewelry was a pearl necklace, a gift of the bridegroom. Mrs. Gene Aden, cousin of the bride, served as her matron of honor. She wore a strapless ballerina gown of lavender net with a matching lace jacket and headdress. She carred a colonial bouquet of yellow roses and daisies. Miss Joyce Aden, cousin of the bride, served as junior bridesmaid. Her dress matched that of the matron of honor and she carried a colonial bouquet of yellow and lavender daisies. Miss Marlys Janssen, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl. She wore a white net dress with a white lace jacket and carried a minature colonial bouquet of lavender daisies. Willard Lauer, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. Robert Lauer, brother of the bridegroom and Romaine Aden, brother of the bride, were ushers. For her daughter's wedding
