He was born on March 1, 1942, in Union County to the late Harvey C. Bridges and Noel (Fitzgerald) Bridges. R.B was a retired truck driver for El Cam and was the former owner of Handee Wash Laundromat. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Lamar Bridges and Waymond Bridges. Bridges and Noel (Fitzgerald) Bridges. R.B was a retired truck driver for El Cam and was the former owner of Handee Wash Laundromat. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Lamar Bridges and Waymond Bridges. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 53 years, Joyce Bridges of El Dorado; one son, Greg A. Bridges and wife Janet of El Dorado; one daughter, Linda Gail McLarty and husband Randy of El Dorado; four grandchildren, Summer Bridges, Courtny Bridges, Michell Hildebrand and R.J. McLarty, all of El Dorado; one great-granddaughter, Serenity Bridges of El Dorado; five brothers, Maurice Bridges of Davis, Fla., Milton Bridges, Doyce Bridges, Royce Bridges and Kenny Ray Bridges, all of El Dorado; and numerous nieces nephews and friends. There will be a memorial gathering at the Bridges Home, 6101 N. West Avenue in El Dorado, at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, 2013. Cremation services were provided by Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado.
