Read More	Tipton Advertiser 23 Nov 1893 DIED- At the home of her parents in Tipton, Iowa, on the 14th day of November, 1893, Rosa Ann Hoon, aged 35 years, 11 months, and 23 days. Since early childhood she with her parents was a resident of Tipton. As a lover of the home circle and of a retiring disposition, she will there be missed most. Being the oldest of the children at home and having a mother, for years an invalid, it naturally fell to her lot to assume the duties of the household, a household fraught with more than the usual amount of care and perplexities. She was never heard to murmur at her burden. She was a faithful and devoted member of the Lutheran church, of Tipton, for over 17 years. During the last few weeks of her sickness, she required constant care and attention which was tenderly bestowed by willing hands and loving hearts. A father, mother, four sisters, and three brothers remain to cherish the memory of an obedient daughter and a loving sister. In the absence of her pastor the funeral services were conducted at her home on the 15th inst. by S. Shaw, pastor of the Reformed church, in Tipton, in the presence of an appreciative audience, after which her remains were gently laid to rest in the Masonic cemetery where they will remain until the resurrection morn when they will be changed and made like unto the "Glorious body of Christ"
