Toliver "Zeb" Dalton was the son of Bradley Dalton and Mary "Polly" Hill. Mary "Polly" Hill was the daughter of John Hill and Sarah "Sallie" Wheeler Hill. This makes her and her husband, Jonathan Arledge Hill, cousins. The grave site of her parents has not been located with a marked head stone. We strongly suspect that they are buried at Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery in Edneyville, Henderson County, N.C. Jonathan Arledge Hill was the son of Manson Carson Hill and Mary Ann Arledge Hill. Manson Carson Hill was the son of John Hill and Sarah "Sallie" Wheeler Hill. Some how someone is extremely confused about the place of birth of Jonathan Arledge Hill. Despite what the newspaper account in Utah stated when he died, he was not born in Madison County, N.C. He was born in Henderson County, N.C. These families never lived in Madison County. Jonathan Arledge Hill and Rosa Sophora Dalton Hill married Jan 27, 1878, in Henderson County, N.C. They moved West with other families from Henderson County about 1890. Their first five children were all born in Henderson County, N.C.: Martha Adaiah Hill (1880-1954) married John Larsen, Carson Bynum Hill (1882-1944) married Sarah Rebecca Butterfield, John Shufford Hill (1884-1963) married Minnie Larsen, Artie Macie Hill (1887-1976) married Anthony Moroni Jensen and Robertson Merkley Hill (1889-1918) married first May Paxman and married second Lula Elsworth. They first settled in Montpelier, Idaho. Their next children were all born in Idaho: Wilford Woodruff Hill (1892-1967) married Antonette Serine Jensen, Rella Leah Hill (1896-1967) married first John Jensen and married second John Walker Sykes and married third William Albert Lucas, and Lyman Merida Hill (1899-1964) married first Gladys Vanderhoof and married second Laura Hope Mills. The family moved to Alberta, Canada, around 1903 or 1904. She died in Alberta, Canada. In 1912, after her death, her husband was in Sweet Grass, Montana, and then went to Utah where his youngest son was living. That is where he died."
