Mrs. Sayler died in Garrison Memorial Hospital Friday. Revs. R.A. Miller and a nephew, Gordon Neuberger of Wishek, officiated, and burial was in the Garrison Cemetery. Pallbearers were Daryl, Alan and Donald Engel, James and Kenneth Sayler and Bruce Jungling. Thompson Funeral home of Garrison was in charge of arrangements. Singers were Rev. and Mrs. C. Brotzman. Rosalia Neuberger was born Sept. 7, 1889 in Krem, South Russia, to John and Pauline Weigerlie Neuberger. She came to the United States with her parent in 1900 when they settled near Beulah. She married Heinrich Sayler Sep. 2, 1905, at Stanton. They homesteaded in Platt Township, McLean County. After Mr. Sayler retired in 1947, they moved into Garrison. They belonged and were active members of the German Congregational Church in Garrison. Mr. Sayler died Dec. 8, 1957, at his home. Mrs. Sayler lived at her home until 1974 when she moved to the McLean Manor in Garrison and lived there until entering the Garrison Nursing Home this year. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church. She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Christ (Lydia) Engel of Douglas, Mrs. Richard (Martha) Bauer of Missoula, Mrs. Alex (Alma) Jungling of Garrison, Mrs. Leslie (Ida) Engel of Garrison, Mrs. Malon (Lorraine) Webster of Layton, Utah, and Catherine Sayler of Grafton; six sons, Reinhold Sayler of Douglas, Herbert of Chehalis, Wash., Ernest of Vancouver, Wash., Rudolph of Garrison, John of Douglas and Leonard of Garrison; 32 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Jake of Beulah and Carl of Golden Valley, five half-brothers and one half-sister. =============================== Rosalia at age 9 with his parents and siblings; Robert, Jacob, Ludwig, Johann and Karl, sailed from the port of Hamburg, Germany on the 31st of May 1899 and arrived at Ellis Island, New York aboard the SS "Augusta Victoria" on the 10th of June 1899. The family's final destination recorded as New Salem, North Dakota. Rosalia NEUBERGER married Heinrich M SAYLER on the 2nd of September 1905 in Stanton, Mercer County, North Dakota. This union was blessed with 12 children; Reinhold, Catherine, Lydia, Herbert, Ernest, Martha, Rudolph, Alma, John, Leonard, Ida and Lorraine.
