Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 21, 2012 at the Our Savior Lutheran Church in Bartlett with Reverend Terry Makelin officiating. Burial will be in the Greeley Cemetery. Ord Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Rose Ruth Ruby was born August 17, 1935, in Madison County, Nebraska to Theodore and Della (Gall) Christiansen. She spent her early childhood in Madison County where she received her elementary education. The family moved to Greeley and Rose graduated from Greeley High School in 1952. On June 18, 1953, Rose was united in marriage to Clifford Johnson at Greeley, Nebraska. The couple lived in eastern Nebraska before settling in Fremont for 25 years and later in Ashland. For the past 25 years Rose has made her home in Ericson. Rose was a homemaker and later worked at Pendelton Woolen Mill in Fremont, Central States Drug out of Lincoln and Deklab Seeds. Rose was a member of the Lutheran Faith all of her life and attended Our Savior Lutheran Church in Bartlett where she served as the treasurer for 20 years. She was a member of the Ericson Lake Corporation. Rose enjoyed her flower gardens and going to the casino. She is survived by her husband, Clifford of Ericson; one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Cheryl Johnson of Omaha; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Rick Rumpel of Watertown, WI; four grandchildren, Dillon Johnson, Kiley Engdahl, Jeremy Frink and Trey Abel; two great-grandchildren, Zander and Gage Frink; one brother, Lyle Christiansen of Omaha; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Hertha and Jack Marco of Bellevue and Edna and Bob Marco of Schuyler.
