She was born September 21, 1936 at Gridley, Kansas, the daughter of Jesse and Ada (Roney) Croner. Rosita grew up in the Westphalia, Kansas area. Read More	************************** Published June 28, 2010 - Moran, KS Rosita Mae Croner Petree, age 73, of Moran, Kansas passed away Friday, June 25, 2010 at the Allen County Hospital, Iola, Kansas. She was born September 21, 1936 at Gridley, Kansas, the daughter of Jesse and Ada (Roney) Croner. Rosita grew up in the Westphalia, Kansas area. She married Robert Kelley in 1951, they had two children. They later divorced. She lived in Colony, KS. from 1955 until 1975. On July 2, 1977 Rosita married Eugene H. Petree. They made their home in Topeka, KS. They moved to Moran in 1980. Rosita worked as a health technician at several Topeka nursing homes. Rosita will be missed as she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved tending to her flowers and garden, as well as making quilts for her family. Rosita was preceded in death by her parents; nine half-brothers; and two half-sisters. She is survived by her husband, Gene, of the home; daughter, Vicki Long and husband, Earl "Butch", of Iola, KS; son, Ronald Kelley and wife, Liz, of The Woodlands, TX; three granddaughters, Angela Laughlin of Overland Park, KS, Jennifer Long of Osage City, KS, and Kayla Kelley of The Woodlands, TX; four great-grandchildren, Alexander and Benjamin Francis, and Gabrielle and Victoria Laughlin all of Overland Park, KS; two half-brothers, Chet Kershner of Moran, KS, and Kenneth Johnson of Gridley, KS; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be June 29, 2010 at the Cherry Mound Cemetery, rural Westphalia, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to the A.C.A.R.F. Animal Shelter and sent in care of Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Moran, KS, who is in charge of arrangements. ************************* Rosita Mae Petree spouse at the time of death was Eugene H.
