Description	:	Roxana Moon was born September 29, 1866, and passed away February 20, 1942, at the age of 75 years, 4 months and 21 days. She was the daughter of Alney and Elizabeth (Collins) Moon, the family living in eastern Iowa at the time of her birth. When she was about a year old the family moved to Ida County. They were pioneers in this part of Iowa and Roxana did her part toward making a good Christian home. On March 26, 1884, she married Alva Miller. To them were born three sons and one daughter.... Read More	Roxana Moon was born September 29, 1866, and passed away February 20, 1942, at the age of 75 years, 4 months and 21 days. She was the daughter of Alney and Elizabeth (Collins) Moon, the family living in eastern Iowa at the time of her birth. When she was about a year old the family moved to Ida County. They were pioneers in this part of Iowa and Roxana did her part toward making a good Christian home. On March 26, 1884, she married Alva Miller. To them were born three sons and one daughter. The three sons, Earl, Perry and Ralph, all preceded their mother in death. Mrs. Miller joined the Methodist Church in Correctionville 46 years ago. Later she took her membership to the Good Hope Church, attending there until services in that church were discontinued. The surviving relatives include her husband, Alva Miller, her only daughter, Mrs. Carl Huth, eight grandchildren, six sisters, Mrs. J.D. Cobb, Mrs. Minnie Markusen and Mrs. Frank Richardson of Correctionville, Mrs. Annie Milligan of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Mrs. Libbie Sellman of Sibley and Mrs. John Carpenter of Darlington, Wisconsin, three brothers, John Moon of Correctionville, William Moon of Stephens, South Dakota, Herbert Moon of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Funeral services were held in the Methodist Church with the pastor, Rev. Robert H. Forrester, officiating. Interment was in Good Hope Cemetery under direction of Wilson-Hull Service.
