Description	:	ANACONDA — Funeral Mass for Ruby A. (Doney) LaTray, of Anaconda, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. June 17, in Holy Family Catholic Church, Anaconda. Ruby died June 9, 2009, at her residence. Vigil services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Longfellow Finnegan Funeral Home Chapel followed by a rosary service. Vigil services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Longfellow Finnegan Funeral Home Chapel followed by a rosary service. Ruby was born Dec. 5, 1926, to Pete and Lydia (Lavenger) Doney at Landusky. She was raised and educated at Zortman. Ruby married Paul LaTray on July 28, 1943, in Havre. They left the Milk River area to move in 1950 to Anaconda, where he went to work for the Anaconda Co. Ruby served as a cook at the Montana Hotel for several years until the "The Hill" ceased operation. She then cooked at the Copper Bowl for a short time before working in the kitchen part time at the Anaconda Job Corps. She retired in 1998. Ruby was a devout Catholic and was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church. She enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, bowling and thoroughly enjoyed her family and being a mother and grandmother. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, who died on April 9, 2009, and daughter, Ruby Ann. Ruby is survived by her children, Joyce Venturelli, Carol Grover, Ace LaTray, Orville LaTray, Butch LaTray and Paula LaTray; brothers and sisters, Leonard Doney, Maxine LaTray, Edna (Gordon) Teske, Alice Pewonka and Elmer Doney; grandchildren, Barb and Troy Saba, Luke and Nikki McLaughlin, Jeanette MaCumber, Jason and Mia Stigen, Rusty and Shannon LaTray, Rick LaTray (Stacey) LaTray, Robb LaTray, Jason McElroy, Josh LaTray, Kayla LaTray, Tristen Grover and Trevon Adam; great-grandchildren, DJ and Mercedes MaCumber, Chevon Saba, Cody, Ian, Rayden, McLaughlin, Jonathan Moreno, Jonathan McLaughlin, Aiden and Logan Stigen, Jessica and Kendalyn LaTray, Kylie McElroy, and Slater and Ruby Jean LaTray; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family whom she loved dearly. Memorials in memory of Ruby may be made to the Pintler Hospice in Anaconda. Longfellow Finnegan Funeral Home is entrusted with her funeral arrangements.
