Deceased was born in Hardwick, Vermont, where her father and brother still live, and where she experienced religion and united with the Congregational Church. In 1862 she removed to Boonsboro and the following year united with the Baptist church, of which she has since been a faithful, consistent member. She leaves a father, one brother, a husband, three children and numerous relatives and friends, to whom she was greatly endeared, to mourn her departure. Boone County Republican 1880
