Ruth was born May 30, 1930 in Ottumwa to James and Sylvia Irene Humble Huddleston. She married James B. Bridgman December 6, 1947. He preceded her in death October 12, 1994. Ruth worked as a CNA for Good Samaritan Nursing and Rehab Center and the Ottumwa Manor, and then specialized in caring for the elderly in their homes. Ruth was born May 30, 1930 in Ottumwa to James and Sylvia Irene Humble Huddleston. She married James B. Bridgman December 6, 1947. He preceded her in death October 12, 1994. Ruth worked as a CNA for Good Samaritan Nursing and Rehab Center and the Ottumwa Manor, and then specialized in caring for the elderly in their homes. Ruth moved to Texas in November 2005 to be close to her children in her remaining years. Ruth enjoyed crafts, flowers and all the little things of life, driving her vehicles, and she loved visiting her children in Texas and Georgia. Ruth had a great love for her husband and for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Ruth was a lifetime member of The Way of Peace Ministries. Ruth is survived by two daughters, Patricia Jones of Morrow, Ga., Bonnie and her husband, Bill Pullen of Benbrook, Texas; two sons, Bruce Bridgman and Jeff and his wife, Barbara Bridgman of Odessa, Texas; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a great-grandchild due in May; a brother, James and his wife, Bonnie Huddleston of Ottumwa; two sisters, Marianne Pantano of Renton, Wash. and Lu Ellen and her husband, Marvin Worth of Ottumwa; many nieces and nephews. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Floyd Dean; a daughter, Nancy Gillespie; a grandson, Robbie Gillespie; three brothers, Carl, Earl and Walter Huddleston; two sisters, Olive Briden and Hallabell Jones. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Lu Ellen Worth officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Brian Jones, Mike Bridgman, Michael Buchanan, Caleb Huddleston, Dennis and Brad Worth
