She was born on Jan. 30, 1914, in Ottumwa to James and Vera McCright Huddleston. She married Raymond H. Jones on Oct. 31, 1963. She was a resident of Ottumwa all of her life. She was involved in the Girl scouts, member of Child Culture Club, Royal Neighbors, South Oak Friendship Club, and Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority. She is survived by two daughters, Rae McConnell of Clinton and Vicki Proctor of Ottumwa; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Marianne Pantano of Seattle Wash., Ruth Bridgman and Rev. Lu Ellen Worth, both of Ottumwa; and a brother James Huddleston Jr. of Ottumwa. She was preceded in death by her parents; a stepmother, Sylvia Huddleston; a son, Joe Jones; three brothers, Carl, Earl, Walter Huddleston; two sisters, Olive Briden and an infant sister Pearl Irene Huddleston. The services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the First Pentecostal Assembly of God Church, the Rev. J. Harley Holt and Dan Barber officiating. Burial will be in the Shaul Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Vicki Proctor, Joe Jones, Brad and Pat McConnell, Derrick Proctor and Shelley Williams. Memorials may be made to First Pentecostal Assembly of God Church and Ridgewood Care Center. The Ottumwa Courier, 1997.
