Description	:	Mrs. Ruth Wygle, a lifelong resident of this community died at her home in Clarksville on Sat., Jan. 15, 1944, at the advanced age of 89 years. Mrs. Wygle had been active and able to be about her home until recently. She was one of 10 children born to Samuel and Mary Shafer McCrery of Clarksville. Early in life she became a member of the Presbyterian Church of which her parents were charter members thus beginning a life of faith in the Bible which was still her comfort at the time of her death. On Dec. 15, 1880, she was married to... Read More	Mrs. Ruth Wygle, a lifelong resident of this community died at her home in Clarksville on Sat., Jan. 15, 1944, at the advanced age of 89 years. Mrs. Wygle had been active and able to be about her home until recently. She was one of 10 children born to Samuel and Mary Shafer McCrery of Clarksville. Early in life she became a member of the Presbyterian Church of which her parents were charter members thus beginning a life of faith in the Bible which was still her comfort at the time of her death. On Dec. 15, 1880, she was married to Frank Wygle, and she and her husband farmed in this community until the year 1919 when they moved to their newly constructed home in Clarksville. Mr. Wygle died in 1934, and since that time her son Edward and wife have made their home with her. Surviving are the son, Edward, a sister, Mrs. E. D. Marquand of Longmont, Colo., three grandchildren, Vern, in the armed forces in Alaska, Frank of Waterloo, and Mrs. Otto Wedeking of Nashua and 5 grandchildren. (should this say 5 great grandchildren ?) Funeral services were held Mon. afternoon from the Hammel & Martin funeral home with the Rev. Bernard Olson pastor of the Community Church in charge.
