Mrs. Perkins, a homemaker, also worked for the Perkins General Store in Bern. Born in Bern on Oct. 8, 1901, she lived all of her life in the Bern and Sabetha areas. She attended the Bern high school. Mrs. Perkins was a member of the Bern United Methodist church, where she was active in the Helping Hands Sunday school class, Women's Fellowship and the quilting group. Mrs. Perkins, a homemaker, also worked for the Perkins General Store in Bern. Born in Bern on Oct. 8, 1901, she lived all of her life in the Bern and Sabetha areas. She attended the Bern high school. Mrs. Perkins was a member of the Bern United Methodist church, where she was active in the Helping Hands Sunday school class, Women's Fellowship and the quilting group. She also was a member of the Better Home Extension Unit of Bern. On Nov. 11, 1920, she married William T. Perkins in Bern. They retired from the family farm in 1957. He died in 1985. Mrs. Perkins also was preceded in death by a son, William T. Jr.; her parents, Samuel and Ida Minger; a sister, Esther Ehrsam; and a grandchild. Surviving: a son, Gerald, Pawnee City, Neb.; a sister, Ruby Osborne, Dallas; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren.
