Ruth (Mema) was born October 23, 1923 at Campbell, Missouri to the late Elbert and Allene Bucy Crews. She married the love of her life, Frank Weldin Wimberley and they shared their lives together for seventy years. Read More	Ruth Mildred Crews Wimberley, 92 of Rector passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 at the National Health Care Facility in Kennett, Missouri surrounded by her family. Ruth (Mema) was born October 23, 1923 at Campbell, Missouri to the late Elbert and Allene Bucy Crews. She married the love of her life, Frank Weldin Wimberley and they shared their lives together for seventy years. They created a life full of love and joy for each other and their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a firm believer in hard work whether it was working in church activities, or on the farm, in her garden, making lunches for their farm workers, or selling watermelons, she did it with a passion to always do her best and finish whatever she started. Ruth was faithful in her Christian life always putting the Lord first and giving thanks for all her blessings. Many will remember her as their Vacation Bible School, Wednesday night Bible Class teacher and mainly one who encouraged others to do their best. She is survived by her daughter, Dana Hayes, a son and his wife, Lynn Wimberley and Gin of Jonesboro, grandchildren, Joel Hayes (Dixie), Neal Wimberley (Ashley), Lee Wimberley and Jana Hayes Schimming (Wade); great grandchildren, Jacob and Marissa Hayes, Anna, Maggie, Ladd, Landry, and Lawson Wimberley and Audrey and Ben Schimming and several nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends she loved and cherished. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Crews and son-in-law, Doyne Hayes. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 12, 2016 at the 5th and Pine Church of Christ in Rector, Arkansas with burial following in Woodland Heights Cemetery. Visitation will to from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the 5th and Pine Church of Christ. Pallbearers will include grandsons and great grandsons: Lee Wimberley, Ladd Wimberley, Neal Wimberley, Joel Hayes, Jacob Hayes and Wade Schimming. Honorary pallbearers will include: Ben Schimming and Lawson Wimberley. If anyone wishing to leave a lasting memorial please consider the Paragould’s Children Home or a charity of your choice.
