Obituary Washington Star, November 21, 1931 Funeral services for Mrs. Walter Early Perry, prominent Montgomery County woman, who died suddenly early yesterday at Georgetown University Hospital following an attack of appendicitis, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home, on Old Georgetown Road, opposite Edgemoor. Rev. Stanley White of the Presbyterian Church of Bethesda will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Monocacy Cemetery at Beallsville. The pallbearers will be G. Wady Imirie, Dr. Henry Young, Gordon C. Keys, Fontaine Keys, Fontaine Hall and Charles H. Griffith. Mrs. Perry, who before her marriage in June, 1912, was Miss Sallie Fontaine, was born in Somerset County, Md., [October 2, 1882]. She was graduated from the Baltimore Normal School and taught school in Montgomery County prior to her marriage. She had been a resident of Bethesda for almost 20 years. She was an active worker in the Presbyterian Church, member of the Janet Montgomery Chapter, D.A.R.; a director of the Woman's Club of Bethesda, member of the County School Board and member of the Board of the Montgomery Social Service League. Besides her husband, who is a merchant here, she leaves three sisters, Mrs. Sue Keys of Rockville, Mrs. S. C. Hall of Hallwood, Va., and Mrs. L. W. Massey of Newport News, Va., and three brothers, Charles, William and Harry Fontaine, all of Somerset County.
