His headstone has the birth date as 14 Aug 1786 and the death date is buried in the dirt but probably matches what is in the cemetery book. No death records were kept at the time of his death and all published information was written over 34 years after his death. Since Samuel and Dorothy are my 4th great grandparents I would like to know which dates are correct but we may never know. More information on the Denny Family can be found in the listed books.
