Description	:	Samuel Joseph Wallace, son of Samuel and Mary Wallace, was born February 10, 1872 in Shelby County, Illinois and died at his home in Nodaway, Iowa, following a heart attack May 2, 1951 at the age of 79 years. He came with his mother, two sisters, and one brother to Iowa when he was 14. They settled on a farm north of Nodaway and later moved into Nodaway. Read More	Samuel Joseph Wallace, son of Samuel and Mary Wallace, was born February 10, 1872 in Shelby County, Illinois and died at his home in Nodaway, Iowa, following a heart attack May 2, 1951 at the age of 79 years. Mr. Wallace bought his present home at the time of his marriage and he and his family have resided there ever since then. He joined the Christian Church when he was a boy. He leaves his wife, five children, Mrs. Harold Barker of Lenox, Iowa, Lesley LeRoy Wallace of Fort Collins, Colorado, Mrs Dwight Dorsey of Griswold, Glen Wallace of Nodaway, and Mrs. Kenneth Moore of Corning. There are also 10 grandchildren. Funeral services ere held in the Methodist Church in Nodaway Saturday, May 5, at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. C. M. Rowe. The singing was by Cecil Weaver, accompanied by Mrs. Francis Wheeler. Pall bearers were Floyd Agnew, Charles Woods, Thort Johnson, Otto Hurd, Art Pulled, and Duane Pond and in charge of the flowers was Mrs. Charles Woods and Mrs. Clyde Vaughn.
