Moore, 76, who died Monday, May 8, at the home in Oshkosh, Nebraska. The Rev. Silas Overholser of Earlham, Iowa had charge of the final rites. Burial was made in the Villisca Cemetery and George J. Singers were Mr. and Mrs. Albert F. Davie, Villisca. Born in Sciola May 10, 1862 and grew to manhood in this vicinity. He was united in marriage February 6, 1888 to Bessie Perry of Omaha and to this union were born two children, Martha M. Lacox of Nodaway, who preceded him in death and Wiliam A. Moore of Henry, Illinois. In the early part of his married life, Mr. Moore and his family spent much time in road construction camps in Iowa and in neighboring states. In later years he and his wife moved to near Nodaway where she died in 1927. Presbyterian Mason While living near Nodaway, Mr. Moore joined the Presbyterian Church and the Masonic Lodge. After his wife's death, he made his home with his son at Henry, Illinois, until the spring of 1929 when he married Ella Hanscomb of Dalton, Nebraska. Mr. and Mrs. Moore came to Nodaway to live and a short time later moved to Villisca, where they had purchased property. They later sold this property and moved to Oshkosh. Besides his wife and son, he is survived by 4 grandchildren, Vera Lacox, and Eva Lacox Akers, both of Bedford and Margaret Moore and James Moore of Henry Illinois and one great grandchild, Allen Dale Akers of Bedford, Iowa.
