Sara was born October 19, 1913, in York New Salem. She was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Smith) Young. She was employed at one time by Dentsply International of York and Schwartz's Store in York New Salem. She was a member of the York New Salem Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and St. Jacob's Lutheran Church in York New Salem, where she was also a member of the Church Choir, Golden Agers, and a Sunday School Teacher. Mrs. Nispel is survived by one son, Carl H. Nispel of York New Salem. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy Young, Loy Young, and Perry Young.
