Description	:	Monticello Express October 15, 1914 Mrs. W. A, Overing, Sr., died, at Mohall, North Dakota, last Sunday, and the body was brought here for burial. The final funeral services will be conducted tomorrow. Mrs.Overing sustained a partial stroke of paralysis, two years ago, after which time she did not enjoy good health. She was seriously ill for 10 days before death ended her sufferings. Mrs.Overing's maiden name was Sarah Ann Starks. She was born in Clinton county, New York, March 30, 1852. She was taken by her parents, to Waukegan, Illinois, in 1855, and a year later to Sauk county, Wisconsin. She came to Monticello in 1867. She was married to W. A. Overing in November, 1871.... She was taken by her parents, to Waukegan, Illinois, in 1855, and a year later to Sauk county, Wisconsin. She came to Monticello in 1867. She was married to W. A. Overing in November, 1871. They lived successively at Sand Spring and Monticello, until eleven years ago, when they moved to North Dakota. Mrs.Overing became the mother of three children, a daughter, who died when very young, a son, W. A. Overing, Jr., of Hettinger, North Dakota, and a daughter, Mrs. Inez McCormick, of Mohall, North Dakota. The husband and the two surviving children were included in the funeral party, which came to Monticello. Mrs. Overing has three sisters living at Monticello, Mrs. A. W. Starks, Mrs. May Starks and Miss Eunice Starks. The decedent was the daughter of tbe late Mr. and Mrs. Norman Starks. She was a handsome woman, of many graces and fine traits of character. She had many friends wherever she lived, for her disposition was such as to attract and keep associates, who admired her lovely character.
