Surviving Mrs. Botkin are two daughters, Mrs. Thurman HECK of New Carlisle, Route 2, and Mrs. Alva R. HOPKINS of Merchantville, N.J.; five sons, Ralph O. of Wooster, Paul E. of Springfield, Route 2, Homer M. of East Liberty, Route 1, Wendell H. of Columbus, and Elden A. of North Hampton who is principal of Garfield School in Springfield; 20 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren, and one brother, Claude A. BRUNER of Elyria. The body was taken to Don A. Neff funeral home, Urbana, and will be returned to the residence Friday evening where friends may call. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Asbury Church by the Rev. Raymond Konkright, pastor, assisted by the Rev. Charles Cramer, former pastor. Burial will be in Newson Chapel Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the services, during which the casket will be closed.
