She came to this country with her parents November 1869. She was married to Thomas Newell June 4, 1872. To this union five children were born, an infant daughter and a son preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her loss a husband, two sons, one daughter, six grandchildren, two sisters and four brothers and other relatives. She joined the Congregational church at Wakefield several years ago, and was a faithful Christian ever ready to attend the services when her health and the weather permitted. The funeral was held at two o'clock Wednesday from the Congregational church conducted by Rev. Sherman. -- Wakefield News.
