The following provided by Find A Grave contributor "Cara": The River Press, Fort Benton, Mont., 13 Jan 1937 Former Resident Passes Away Mrs. Sarah Frances Cecil, a resident of Fort Benton and Great Falls for the past 56 years, died here Sunday morning after a short illness. Mrs. Cecil was the widow of William H. Cecil and resided at 721 Sixth Ave. N. She was born in Missouri 64 years ago but came to Montana when she was 8 years old. She resided in Fort Benton until 1918 when she came to Great Falls to make her home. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Goldie Connelly of Great Falls, Mrs. Mabel Snyder and Mrs. Catherine Hurley of Shelby; four sons, Owen, Basil and Milner of Great Falls, and Ray of Monarch; one brother, Rufus Calhoun of Geyser; two sisters, Mrs. Lulu Barber of Nampa, Calif., and Mrs. Susan Ellis of Myrtle Point, Ore.; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. --Great Falls Tribune Funeral services were held from the O'Connor chapel in Great Falls at 9:15 Tuesday morning and at St. Ann's cathedral at 9:30. The body will be shipped to this city and burial made in Riverside cemetery. Mrs. Cecil will be remembered by many residents of this city where she resided for a good many years and all will extend sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
