Findling that occurred at her home southwest of Tipton at 4:20 p.m. Monday after an illness of more than a year, during which she was a very patient sufferer. Sarah Caroline, daughter of Jacob and Barbara Planalp Trautman, was born in Decatur county June 18, 1871. Findling that occurred at her home southwest of Tipton at 4:20 p.m. Monday after an illness of more than a year, during which she was a very patient sufferer. Sarah Caroline, daughter of Jacob and Barbara Planalp Trautman, was born in Decatur county June 18, 1871. She came with her parents to Tipton county in the year of 1881 and resided here until her death. She was united in marriage to Herbert G. Findling, March 20, 1895. To this union were born four children, Howard Alton, Celia Mae, Velma Viola, living, and Glenn Edward, deceased at the age of two years. She is also survived by five sisters, Mrs. Ella Michel, Mrs. Mamie Ramsey, Mrs. Melvina Molden and Misses Matilda and Madora Trautman, all residing in this county. Her parents, two sisters and one brother, preceded her to the grave. She leaves also a number of relatives and friends. During her childhood she attended the pubic school. She united with the Methodist church in her youth, having been a member of the Wesley Chapel church west of Tipton, later transferring her membership to the Kemp Memorial Methodist church, where she was a faithful attendant of all the services while her health permitted. She was very much devoted to her home and family and was a kind neighbor always interested in the welfare of the community. The funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at the Kemp M.E. church in Tipton Rev. John Ward Ross, the pastor will be in charge. He will be assisted by the Rev. H.L. Little, of Fairmount, a former pastor of the deceased and close friend of the family.
