Description	:	Mrs. Johnson of 3203 8th Street died about 6:30 PM Saturday at St. Mary's Hospial, she was 78. Funeral Services will be at 2 PM Tuesday a the Evngelical Free Church with the Rev. Earl Gunsolley officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Cemetery. The body will lie in state until noon Tuesday at the Gass Funeral Home, then from 1 until 2 PM at the church. Mrs. Johnson, daughter of the late Benjamin and June Orender Louden, was born June 10, 1883 at St. Edward and attended rural school in that community. She was married to Alfred Johnson of Red Oak, Ia., on Nov. 1, 1899. They farmed at Albion until moving to Columbus in 1924. Mr. Johnson preceded her in death Aug. 8, 1959. She married to Alfred Johnson of Red Oak, IA. on 11-1-1899. They farmed in Albion until moving to Columbus in 1924. Her husband died on 8-8-1959. She is survived by 7 children; Dorothy Reinke, Georgia Parsall of Columbus, Frances Stemper of Lincoln, Lucille Big of Sterling, CO., and Wilber, Robert, & Ida Johnson. Other survivors include two brothers, and one sister, 2 half brothers, 31 grandchildren and 51 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by four infant children, daughter Hazel Tompkins, and sisters; Fern Bell, and brother Alvin and a infant sister. Family suggests memorials be given to the American Cancer Society.
